- To direct and control the activities of the Guest Services desk and Concierge to ensure adherence to pre-set policies and procedures.
- To ensure smooth operation of registration and cashiering functions of the Guest Services staff also
- To direct all activities of the staff from the Guest Services desk and Concierge to ensure communication and follow-up on any problems, guest requests, special requirements, etc.
- To discipline staff in accordance with policies and conduct performance reviews as scheduled.
- To review daily arrivals, special requests, room assignments and coordinates with Housekeeping department the needs of guests.
- To meet up with and escort VIP guests where necessary.
- To keep the Operations Manager and General Manager updated on all activities of Guest Services and Concierge.
- To handle guest complaints and keep management informed as necessary.
- To coordinate with Reservation and Sales on room availability and selling strategy to maximize occupancy, revenue and yield.
- To work with the Accounts department to ensure credit procedures are followed and any problems are resolved.
- To ensure maximization of revenues and control of expenses in all areas under control.
- To forecast and budget revenues and expenses for all areas under control.
- To respond properly in any emergency or safety situation.
- To prepare annual budget plans for Guest Services and Concierge department.
- Perform other reasonable duties as may be delegated by management.
